General Information

Who?
: Kids in grades 2-5 who want to express themselves through art. Boys and girls of
all art abilities are welcome.

What?: Choose from 4 different fine-art workshops. See below for a list of the cool
things offered.

Where?: The Council for the Arts, 159 S. Main St., Chambersburg, PA.

When?: April 14th-28th, 6:00-7:30pm

Why?: Because you're creative and want to learn more about art - plus it's free!

How?: Space is limited and pre-registration is required*. Call the Council at
717-264-6883 today to be sure we save you a spot!

April 14th
: Something Fishy is Going on Here!

Create a unique, interesting and visually appealing, 3D sculpture of a fish or underwater
creature from recycled materials with Dee Henry.

April 18th: Butterflies with Barb

Learn about symmetry and create a crayon resist butterfly using black crayon and
watercolor.

April 21st: Where the Sidewalk Ends

During this class we'll explore our imaginations and have fun with wet chalk drawings.
We take sidewalk chalk to a whole new level with Barb Peshkin.

April 28th: Spring to Life

With Merissa Vevasis. Ignite your creativity with a surprisingly simple painting process
called Mono Printing. Enjoy an evening creating a Spring design filled with birds,
butterflies, bees and more.
